Regulation
- The trophy is a traveling trophy called Matmaður UMFÍ.
- The trophy shall be presented at the end of the last meal of the UMFÍ congress to the delegate or UMFÍ board member who, in the jury’s opinion, is most worthy of keeping the trophy until the next congress. The selection takes into account, among other things, conduct at the congress’s meals and coffee breaks, use of cutlery, style and table manners.
- The jury shall consist of the congress president and the previous Matmaður. If the previous Matmaður is not present, a representative of HSK shall take their place; they formed the jury the first time.
- The trophy shall be returned to UMFÍ no later than one week before the congress.
